For those students who need extra guidance and support, the school provides a range of services and programs.

Curriculum Programs

͵ÅÄ͵¿ú Secondary College has a range of supports for students at all stages of their learning.  Our teachers use data to identify the point of need for intervention, and provide differentiated and appropriate content and resources for all students.  For those students requiring additional support in Literacy and Numeracy the College runs a number of small group withdrawal and in class intervention programs for students from Year 7-10, including:

  • Numeracy Enhancement – Year 7-9
  • Literacy Enhancement Year 7-9
  • English as and Additional Language (EAL) Enhancement -Year 7-9
  • Middle Years Literacy and Numeracy Support (MYLNS) – Year 10
  • EAL extension – Year 10

Support for all students

͵ÅÄ͵¿ú Secondary College is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment that supports students with additional learning needs. We offer tailored educational supports that are designed to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring they have the tools and support to thrive. Our dedicated teams of teachers, specialists, and support staff work closely with students and their families.  Through student support group meetings our team:

  • develop individual education plans
  • provide in class support (where appropriate)
  • identify appropriate adjustments to the curriculum and environment
  • regularly review student progress.

We focus on fostering a positive, supportive, and respectful atmosphere where every student feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential. Whether through one-on-one assistance, small group sessions, or specialised interventions, our approach ensures that every student has the opportunity to succeed academically and personally.

Disability Inclusion

͵ÅÄ͵¿ú Secondary College works under the Disability Inclusion Reform within the Department of Education. If your student requires substantial support at school, the Inclusion Team here at ͵ÅÄ͵¿ú College will be in contact with you to undergo a Disability Inclusion Profile.
